This really is a dream come true. When I first started my little business, I could never have imagined that it would grow into what it is today. What began as a personal passion project — born out of a lifelong love for flowers and creativity — has blossomed (quite literally!) into something so special.
After years of being a hairdresser, supporting my husband’s business, and raising my lovely family, I finally took the leap earlier this year to follow my heart and step into floristry full-time. And now, to have a space of my own at Billing Garden Village feels like such a wonderful next chapter.

Hello, I’m Terri – the face (and hands!) behind The Wild Stem Studio, a local florist studio born.
I’ve always had a passion for flowers. There’s something incredibly grounding and joyful about working with nature’s beauty — the textures, the colours, the movement. For years, life kept me busy, and like many women, I put my passions on hold while taking care of everything else. But going through the menopause gave me a wake-up call. It was a time of reflection and honesty — and I asked myself, “What do I really love? What would make me feel alive again?” The answer was simple: flowers.
And that’s how The Wild Stem Studio was born.
This isn’t just a flower business. It’s a creative expression. Every arrangement I create is bespoke, thoughtfully put together with a touch of wild beauty and a lot of heart. I like to think that my personality shines through each bouquet — a little unexpected, a little luxurious, and always personal.
