A Floral Tribute That Continues to Bring Comfort 🤍

Funeral flowers are chosen with love. They can reflect someone’s favourite colours, their love of the garden, or simply the warmth and joy they brought into the lives of others.

At The Wild Stem Studio, we understand how meaningful those flowers can be. Following requests from families, we’re introducing a new service as part of our Sympathy Tributes: carefully transforming a casket spray after the funeral into smaller posies for loved ones to take home and cherish.

From one loving tribute to smaller posies

A casket spray brings flowers together in a final tribute to someone dearly missed. After the service, those same flowers can be thoughtfully rearranged into individual posies, allowing family and friends to share something meaningful.

Our sunflower tribute shows how this can look. The golden sunflowers, soft cream roses, delicate blue flowers and greenery come together in smaller arrangements, each carrying the colours and sentiment of the original spray.

The flowers remain part of the same tribute, shared between the people who loved them.

A little comfort to take home

Returning home after a funeral can be an emotional moment. Having a small arrangement of flowers from the service may offer a little comfort during those first quiet days.

Placed somewhere special, a posy can be a gentle reminder of the person being remembered and the love shared on the day.

For some families, this might mean a posy for a partner, children or siblings. For others, it may be a thoughtful way to include a close friend. There is no single right way to share them; it’s about what feels meaningful to you.

Thoughtfully arranged, with care

Every casket spray is different. The number and size of the posies will depend on the flowers used, the size of the original tribute and their condition after the service.
